Canadian Youth Business Foundation, Regional Business Accelerator and Community Futures Lloydminster and Region Partnership

On October 10th, 2013 the Canadian Youth Business Foundation, Regional Business Accelerator and Community Futures Lloydminster and Region launched their partnership.  Check out the October 17th article in the Lloydminster Source. http://www.lloydminstersource.com/News/tabid/68/entryid/3619/Default.aspx

Small Business Loans for Local Entrepreneurs

Community Futures Lloydminster and Region will now offer access to the Small Business Loans Association program. This program offers loans of up to $20,000 to new and existing businesses at a competitive interest rate to help local entrepreneurs realize their business dreams.

We are excited about our new partnership between Community Futures Lloydminster and Region Small Business Loans Association and Saskatchewan’s Ministry of the Economy.

The Small Business Loans Association program has assisted thousands of Saskatchewan small businesses since 1989 through their funding services. By making funding available through community-run organizations, the program encourages diversification of the Saskatchewan economy and supports community economic development.

With Lloydminster having the unique distinction of straddling the Saskatchewan/Alberta border: the loan program will be available to all qualifying businesses within Lloydminster City limits on both sides of the border.

Community Futures Lloydminster and Region is a non profit organization of professional staff and volunteer board members that has been servicing the area for over 25 years.  Community Futures Lloydminster and Region has a Vision:  “Lloydminster and Region will be a diversified, thriving place of opportunity for all entrepreneurs and Communities”.  The board and staff have worked tirelessly for the past quarter century to fulfill the organization’s Mission: “To foster entrepreneurship and diversification in our communities through regional economic cluster development, small business loans and training”.
