Community Futures St. Paul – Smoky Lake Region is now hiring outgoing, enthusiastic, qualified candidates for the position of: Digital Service Squad – Team Members to work within Northeast Alberta.
The Digital Economy program is a collaboration by Business Link and Digital Main Street and is funded by the Government of Alberta. This project is working with five Community Futures offices across Northeast Alberta including CF Lac La Biche, CF Lakeland, CF Lloydminster, CF Elk Island, CF St. Paul – Smoky Lake Region.
This is a unique opportunity to work one on one with small businesses across our region to help them use digital tools to market and grow their business. As a member of the Digital Service Squad, you will be a key contributor to the success of the program.
This is a one-year term position starting mid January 2022 with an option to extend to March 31, 2023. Full time and part time is being considered. Specific training by the Digital Main Street Program is provided to the successful candidates.
- Strong communication skills
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- Experience with various digital marketing platforms
- Be familiar with digital technologies social media and e-commerce
A strong ability to use the following:
- Microsoft office suite,
- Digital Photography
- Drivers License (& vehicle, as some travel will be required.)
35 hours per week – base salary $2800/mth.
Previous experience working in a small business is an asset.
